Radio Station Frequencies at Burning Man
For those of us who are unfortunate enough NOT to be heading out to Black Rock City yet, here is a last second posting of some useful Playa information.
At Burning Man, we have the opportunity to listen to the best FM radio available anywhere. You’ve never heard radio like this before (unless, of course, you have!). Many years ago, there was one radio station at Burning Man, but that has grown over the years. Now there are dozens.
Before you get into your overstuffed vehicle to head out to the Playa, do yourself a favor and visit the following website, which lists most (if not all) of the radio stations and programming. Pirate radio has never been better! Print out a copy and bring it with you:

I’m always blown away by the quality of radio “programming” at Black Rock City. My first year at Burning Man there was only one radio station. Now there are dozens. It’s a blast to scan thru the channels. Some of the most unusual stuff you’ll ever hear. There is no better radio than what’s available on the Playa. Mainstream be damned!
