Fire by Trick Concepts is pleased to announce it’s first “Fire Photo Contest.”

We will be judging photos based on Fire Performance (a fire performer spinning, wielding, breathing, etc…) which results in the photographic capturing of fire in a unique or unusual way.

Contest winners will be selected by our judging panel: Machina Candeo Fire Performance Company.

Contest ends March 1, 2007.Limit five photo entries per person.

To enter, e-mail your photos to: Scorch@trickconcepts.com. Please include:

1. Full name of person submitting entry
2. Nickname of person submitting photo (if applicable)
3. Full mailing address of person submitting entry (or where you would like your prizes mailed should you win)
4. Telephone number of person submitting entry
5. E-mail address of person submitting entry

For the past couple weeks, Comet McNaught has been quite a sight in the northern hemisphere. It was bigger and brighter than the planet Venus as it closed in on the sun.

Now it has passed behind the sun, and so it is viewable in the southern hemisphere. Great shots are coming out of Australia.

Have a look at the photo galleries. Amazing stuff. The comet got so big and bright as it approached the sun that it was quite easy to see it with the naked eye in broad daylight.

An estimated 400 Santas participated in the 2006 SF Santarchy event. Some classic moments were going down Lombard Street, the zombie attack at the Hustler Club, and the HO! tagging on the fire truck, but the real high point was when Santa crashed the wedding.

To give you an idea about how AMAZING Lost toys was… I’m still too much in recovery mode to even THINK about writing a witty intro, and it’s halfway through Monday… also, most of the friends are surprisingly quiet this Monday…. methinks that just about everybody is still recovering from this one!

What a party. Talk about everyone stepping up their game, Wolfie and hipgenesis did an amazing job on this one, the RLD lounge and dj’s… WOW! and performing was a blast!! I hope everyone enjoyed the show, as much as we enjoyed performing.

And then, we all went to Lynnsane’s birthday afterparty! I don’t even think most people are going to wake up until Tuesday.

And if that’s not enough… photos are also up from SantaCon, and The Forbidden City! Big thanks to the SantaCon organizers for an amazing time, and Ninja Skillz for setting up an amazing Forbidden City in a downtown bar…

Last week, our fine friends at The Do Lab had invited captain of shenanigans Steve Payne to take some photographs at their recent Lucent Delirium event in downtown L.A. The results are excellent.
